"jvirgs drives a Subaru" (jvirgs)

.......makes me want to punch puppies and small children. When will I ever learn. I was reading Stef's post about FoxSports royally fucking up coverage yesterday when one of the million college basketball games went into overtime and decided to let that play out on FS1 and bump UFC prelims to FS2, kicking the Rolex 24 to FSGo (which if you didn't realize, only like 5 people in the US have access to). To this I agree that FoxSports really needs to get its shit together when it comes to broadcasting any other form of motorsports other than NASCAR and Monster Energy Supercross. But reading comments on her post is borderline infuriating. Most of the comments come and bash NASCAR and really consist of "F1 4 LYFE", "SKY SPORTS ALL THE THINGS", "SKY SPORTS RULES, NBCSN DROOLS" "FOXSPORTS SUX DONKEY DICK" "MOTORS TV".
Morons on the FP really need to learn that when you are comparing and arguing Sportscars vs. F1, vs. NASCAR THEY ARE NOT THE FUCKING SAME! All broadcasts have limitations due to regulations, geographical limits, budgetary limits (this is what a lot seem to not grasp) and each series has their own intricacies that broadcasts need to work around. A lot of complaints were about NBC's F1 coverage. I have never minded their coverage and like that I even have access to this European centered sport here in America. Most people bitching complain about the coverage being based in a studio in the US. What were you all expecting? Travel for announcers, the production team and all the equipment costs money! They wouldn't be able to even provide the current coverage if they were traveling all over the damn world just to appease the few people that bitch that the sky is too blue and the grass is too green. This is the same issue with WEC and V8 Supercars. They cost money to broadcast and unfortunately, the following in the US compared to Europe is not even close to being as large. Its the same thing for the NASCAR fans over in Europe. What? You didn't realize such people existed? Well they do. Coverage over in Europe is probably just as lacking as US coverage of any European form of motorsports. Because there is that little "pond" between the to continents and, you guessed it, it costs money.
The purpose of this rant is not to try and prove that US TV coverage of motorsports is excellent, because its not, and at points its almost unbearable to watch in certain applications. But more to point out why you can't "SKY SPORTS ALL THE THINGS" in the US. I would also like to say just be lucky that you can even afford TV and have the opportunity to even see 24hr coverage of the Rolex 24 or even 24hrs of Le Mans because, 5-10 years ago, you would have been lucky to get even 8 hrs of coverage.

I'm trying to talk someone there out of thinking taking a customer's car up to 100 MPH on public roads is a good thing for a mechanic and shop to do. On a car with a damaged transmission.
Why do I even bother...

It missed 20 minutes. IMSA.com has been streaming all race, and FoxSportsGo has become more accessible. No one wants FS1 but its what we have to deal with

Says a lot about the FP that I'm the surprised about the lack of dickheads on Honda Man's Top 10 post. In a post overflowing with opinions I would expect a battlefield by now.

The thing is that most of the coverage yesterday was on Fox Sports 2, which a lot of cable companies only stick in a very expensive tier of programming, if they have it at all. I only get it in non-HD. Also tried to get the Fox App to work, and it blocked us out, saying we weren't in an approved location.
